Karl Marx was a German  Jewish economist,sociologist,materialistic philosopher and critics of capitalism. He was a great great political thinker and was one of the chief founders of communism. He was born in Prussia on 5th may 1818,Trier ,Rhine province.He is mask noted for his contributions to political economy and for his revolutionary activities.

 Due to industrial revolution, new factories were established in Europe. The rich people's class (capitalists) were  used to exploit labourers. Labourers  got very little wages without any share in profits of the factories. He wanted the workers to be united and fight against the capitalists. The capitalist did not like karl's views/vision.After his writing were censored, he had to flee from Germany in paris and later in london  in order to save his life.Substantial concept related to Marx are alienation,ideology and fetishism. 

 He wrote two famous books, communist Manifesto(1848) and  Das capital(1867). Karl Marx's ideas later inspired communist revolutions all over the world.By contributing so much for the welfare of people,he died in England in 1883.Even though , he is no more but owing to his contribution , he will be immortal forever as one of the greatest communist in the history and also renowned as the father of modern communism.

1) What are the characteristics of Bourgeoisie/Proletariat?

Ans: The bourgeoisie are the people who controls the means of production in a capitalist society whereas, the proletariat are the members of the working class. 

Characteristics of Bourgeoisie:-

    1) They own the part of the means of production (like a a factory). 

2) They retain the vast majority of the profits of their worker's labour.

 3) They employ members of the proletariat to produce goods. 

4) They are few in number than the proletariat.

5) They contribute little or no work to the production of goods.

 6) They pay their workers wages in exchange for the goods that they produce.

Characteristics of Proletariat:-

1)They are numerous, accounting for the vast majority of the population. 

2)They work for wages rather than reaping(gaining) the profits of the goods.

3) They do not own any part of the means of production. 

4) They work at the behest(instruction/order)of the bourgeoisie.

 5) They have limited control over their working environment.

2)How does the Karl Marx explain the relation between capital and labour?

Ans: Marx explains the relation between capital and labour in the way that under capitalist form of production the product of labour does not belong to the labourer. The capitalist earn from the labour of labourer. The production is alienated from the worker;  the product belong to the capitalist and therefore contributes to the bondage of the worker in the production process. The more the worker produces the more enslaved he is by the alienated products of his labour. This means, the more the labour produces, the richer the capitalist become and make him slave more.

3) What does the manifesto of the communist party? Explain.

Ans: The manifesto of the communist party explains Marx and Engels’s criticism of other socialist and communist movements. It includes the set of communist’s foundational principles. It explains mostly the discussion of the role of the bourgeoisie people who always suppress,dominate,exploitate the proletariat in the name of land ,labour,capital and organization.

4)What is Mask most noted for?How is his view is different from others?

Ans: Marx is most noted for his contributions to political economy and for his revolutionary political activities. He is different from other that he advocates for the poor. His thought is relevant to art and literature.
